Sacred Path of Light · Legacy Series
Your interactive workbook for Running Challenges To Grow Your Business & Community, from first spark to the follow-up that converts.
How to use this
This workbook holds every decision across the whole challenge build, whether you're running it to bring in clients and coaching offers, or to grow your Skool community, or both.
Work through the tabs in order if you're moving through the course lesson by lesson, or jump to whichever tab matches where you are right now.
Every entry saves automatically in your browser, on this specific device, as you type, so you can close this page and pick up exactly where you left off. Just know it won't carry over if you switch to a different computer or phone, so it's best to keep working from the same device throughout the course. Each tab has its own export to PDF button if you want to download that section on its own, and on the final tab you'll find an option to export the complete workbook as one document.
Lessons 1 – 2
A challenge asks for far less than a course or a coaching program, and gives people a real result in return. Before building anything, find the topic that makes it work.
Why This Works
A challenge combines the low commitment of a lead magnet with the depth of a real teaching experience. Committing to five days of real participation is already a signal of genuine intent, which is why a well-guided challenge doesn't just grow a list, it grows the right list.
One topic I already feel could become a challenge
You'll refine this as you move through the course. Starting with a spark is enough.
What in my own work could become a short, action-based experience?
Finding the Intersection
The ideal topic sits where your audience's biggest desire meets your deepest expertise.
My audience's biggest desire, right now
Look at recurring questions, common struggles, what people are already asking for. Specific enough to promise a real result in five days, not a vague, long-term transformation.
My deepest expertise
Not everything you know, the thing that can be taught almost effortlessly because it's second nature. If it feels like a stretch to teach, it's probably not the right topic yet.
Where they overlap
This is the seed for everything built in the rest of this workbook.
Challenge name & outcome promise
The name should make the outcome obvious immediately, no explanation needed. Specificity beats cleverness every time.
Lessons 3 – 4
Decide free or paid, where it lives, then map the five days so momentum builds deliberately from Day 1 to Day 5.
Free, Paid & Where It Lives
Free or paid?
Free is best for growth and list building, a lower barrier means more participants and reach.
Paid is best for revenue and filtering for serious, committed participants, and works well once there's an established audience or the goal is pre-qualifying for a bigger offer ahead.
Where this challenge runs
Inside a Skool community: hosting there means participants join the community to take part, so even a free challenge builds the paid ecosystem around it. This is one of the most effective ways to grow a Skool community specifically.
Outside Skool: the natural next step is a standalone offer, coaching, a discovery call, or a course, since there's no existing membership to deepen.
Your 5-Day Structure
Each day should reference and build on the one before, so momentum comes from visible progress, not just more information.
Establish the big picture, create an early win, set expectations and get people taking action right away.
Go deeper into the core teaching, building on Day 1's shift. Keep the action step simple.
This is often where engagement dips, so make it the most engaging or activating day. A live element, a deeper personal share, or a breakthrough-style exercise works well here.
Connect the dots from the previous three days and start planting seeds for what comes next, without pitching yet.
Deliver the biggest win of the whole challenge, celebrate what participants accomplished, then bridge into the offer.
Lesson 5
Without a clear next step, all the momentum built over five days just fades. The offer is the natural next chapter of the same journey, not a separate pitch.
What's the offer?
If inside Skool: the natural next step is upselling to the next tier, premium or VIP. Frame it around what becomes available at the next level, not just an upgrade for its own sake.
If outside Skool: the natural next step is a specific standalone offer, coaching, a discovery call, a course. Be explicit about exactly what it includes and what happens immediately after saying yes.
Making it feel like a continuation, not a hard sell
Reference the transformation participants just experienced. Position the offer as going deeper into what they already started, keeping the energy consistent through Day 5.
What it includes, and what happens after saying yes
Lessons 6 – 7
Build only what's genuinely needed to run this well, then decide how it actually gets delivered.
Your Asset Checklist
A simpler, well-executed asset suite outperforms an elaborate one that delays launch.
Core assets

Hosting Format
Live, pre-recorded, or hybrid?
Fully live builds trust fastest early on, when personal connection matters most.
Pre-recorded is more sustainable to run repeatedly, but can feel less personal on its own.
Hybrid, pre-recorded daily lessons with live touchpoints layered in, Q&A, a live closing call, is often the most sustainable model once a challenge is proven and running repeatedly.
Lessons 8 – 9
Every day needs a reliable rhythm participants can count on, and a great challenge with no one in it doesn't grow anything.
Your Daily Format
Keep this consistent across all five days. One core teaching point per day, resist the urge to overload.
Teaching approach
Focused and specific, not trying to cover too much in one day.
Action step approach
A clear, doable task tied directly to the teaching, completable the same day.
Community prompt approach
A question or invitation that gets participants engaging with each other. Referencing other participants' responses publicly builds energy.
Live element approach
A full live session, or a lighter touchpoint like live comments or a voice note, depending on your hosting format.

Evergreen cadence
This doesn't have to be a one-time event. Each run gets easier since the assets already exist.
Lessons 10 – 11 & Closing
Most conversions won't happen exactly on Day 5. The follow-up matters as much as the pitch, and the debrief after is what makes the next run better.
Follow-Up Path
My follow-up sequence
If inside Skool: follow-up can happen directly inside the community, posts, DMs, live calls, all in the same space participants are already in.
If outside Skool: follow-up typically happens through email sequences and direct outreach, so being explicit about next steps matters even more.
Post-Challenge Debrief
Set this up now, before the first challenge even goes live.
What I'll track
Tracking notes
✦ A Tool, Not a One-Time Event
The same challenge can be run again and again, each time easier and more refined, since the assets already exist and the debrief from each run sharpens the next one. Run the first one soon while everything here is still fresh.
